Network and Security Cloud Analyst
Reporting to the Networking and Security Team Lead, the role involves supporting IT security and network operations, including firewalls, load balancers, DMZs, network switches, IPT, Wi-Fi, video conferencing, and WAN connectivity. Responsibilities include patch management, capacity planning, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network security infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Oversee network implementation, configuration, and administration.
- Handle vendor performance and budget management.
- Support IT availability, security standards, Active Directory, email, and file management.
- Monitor security events, apply patches, and respond to threats.
- Manage firewall, IDS/IPS, virus protection, and incident management.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, Architecture, and Build & Delivery teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation of network changes and service transitions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IT network infrastructure (CCNP certification preferred).
- Experience with Nexus ACI, Cisco switches/routers, and routing technologies (OSPF, Multicast).
- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience (utilities sector experience is a plus).
