Financial Services and Investment Company in Dublin is looking for a Senior React/ Full Stack Developer with Python on the back-end to join their company. Previous financial services experience is a distinct advantage.
Experience:
- 8+ years ReactJS / Next.js / TypeScript development experience building web applications
- 8+ years’ experience developing within AWS, Linux and/or MAC
Skill and Knowledge:.
- Broad Full Stack Engineering capability – React / Python
- Browser Based User Interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Frameworks (e.g., ReactJS), AJAX, JSP and XML
- Experience creating reusable components/widgets, SDK/worked in UI framework areas
- SOA (Web Services, REST), J2EE, JDBC, SQL
- Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and implementation, in addition to designing and implementing MVC software architectures.
- Project development lifecycle from obtaining business requirements, understanding User Experience documentation, creating User Interface (UI) prototyping, to coding and testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies
- Ability to think strategically: creative thinker. Strong problem-solving skills
- Extremely professional with ability to lead and work as part of a creative team
- Hands on work style: Dynamic can-do attitude, proactive and curious in nature
Experience with the following is desirable:
- DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, AWS
- Python
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
