My client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join their team.
The Role – Senior Group Financial Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly Group consolidated management accounts and provide financial information for decision-making support across the business, as and when required.
- Assist with the year end audit process and support the preparation of the Group Financial Statements.
- Support the annual financial statement process for UK / IRL entities.
- Work with the team to deliver monthly, quarterly balance sheet reviews and assist in the balance sheet review process for the group.
- Support & involvement in M&A activity.
- Manage the group reporting structure and chart of accounts maintenance within the consolidation platform for the group.
- Assist with updating finance policies and procedures for the group.
- Continue to innovate and improve the existing management and statutory monthly/ annual processes to aid the on-going business transformation and improve quality and timeliness of reporting.
- Work alongside our group tax, treasury, and FP&A functions.

- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to business partner with teams across the Groups’ subsidiary businesses and Group Functions.
- Ability to interpret detailed information and capable of communicating complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
Qualifications/Experience
· Qualified chartered accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA/CPA etc).
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial reporting (consolidation environment) / statutory reporting role.
· Experience in FRS102.
· Experience of Cognos / SAP and other consolidation tools an advantage.
