We require social care manager for a children's residential service in Galway. This is a full time, permanent post offering and excellent salary and benefits package. An ideal candidate must have the following:
- BA honors level 8 degree in social care and four years post qualification work experience in children's service only.
- Or minimum level 7 degree in social care and is enrolled or previously enrolled in the management qualification course with four years post qualification in children's service only.
- A full clean manual driver’s license and access to their own transport
- Knowledge of relevant National Standards in Children's Residential Services
- Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing, and planning skills.
- Candidates must also have a deep commitment to children’s and young people’s rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
