We are seeking caring and compassionate social care workers to support young people up to the age of 18 in a residential setting. This is an exciting opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced professionals to make a genuine difference to vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Develop professional relationships with children and their families/carers

· Supervise and accompany children on outings and contribute to the development of the young child, through the promotion and provision of a healthy lifestyle

· Assist the young person’s development in both personal and social skills.

· Implement personal educational plans and ensure that activities are organised as required

· Develop care plans to meet the needs of the young person

· To attend regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager

· Adhering to policies and procedures

· Report Writing and documentation

Role Requirements:

Minimum level 7 in one of the following:

1. Social Care

2. Social work

3. Psychology

4. Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

5. Youth & Community

6. Teaching

7. Nursing

8. Social Science

· Experience working with younger people in care is desirable

· Flexible – willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances, shift patterns and expectations

· Full clean driving license
