Social Worker – Cork, City, South
Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting for a locum Social Worker for long term agency assignment working as part of Child Protection and Welfare Team based in Cork City.
The main duties of this role will be:
- Completing comprehensive assessments, chairing multi-disciplinary professional meetings,
- Co-ordinating reunification plans with children and families.
- Court work is interviewing clients
- Direct and therapeutic work with children
The successful candidates will work as part of a well-structured team with monthly supervision and developing social workers strengths as well as continuous Training and Development sessions with a dedicated training plan.
The Candidate:
- A recognized qualification as a Social Worker with CORU registration
- Candidates with a recognized Social Work qualification and are in the process of registering with CORU may be considered for Interim Children’s Service / Project Worker role. 2022 graduates will be considered
- Some experience working within a children protection setting. University placement experience will be considered
- Excellent knowledge of legislation within the area
- Permission to work in Ireland
- Professional approach to work
- Flexibility in work practice
- Garda vetting
- Access to a car and full drivers license is desirable
