Assistant Accountant - Part Qualified

The Job:
As a key part of the accounts & finance team, you will cover a broad range of duties supporting diverse business units across the company. More specifically you will support the preparation of month-end journals & the management accounts, review & analyse GL transactions, maintain a fixed asset register, ensure costs & budgets & allocated correctly, liaise with the AP & AR teams on overlapping duties & provide financial assistance to departmental managers,
As the role will grow into a full accountant role in time, you will be expected to also take an active part in financial projects, support internal & external audit processes & work closely with the Financial Controller on their duties.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified.
- Part-qualified accountant with some relevant training/corporate experience in audit or industry.
- Accounting Technicians with strong, relevant experience will also be considered.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Strong analytical & business acumen skills.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & engage with senior colleagues on projects.

This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits & overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications & career experience but will be above market rates to reflect the level of talent they wish to attract.
This role will be fully office based in Co. Tipperary.
