Assistant Manager (Construction/Trade Sales)

Working hours: 8.00am – 5.30pm
Responsibilities:
- As Assistant Store Manager, you will report to and assist the store owner in ensuring the smooth running of the store and team on a day-to-day basis.
- You will actively manage key accounts and drive sales within the branch promoting products and services.
- Motivate- you will create a culture and environment that engages your team and drives them to want to do their best.
- Customer-focused- understanding that great customer service is a priority, and that service excellence is about consistently doing things extraordinarily well.
- Identify and develop talent- understanding the strengths of the people in your team and creating development plans for each of them to help them succeed.
- Maintaining excellent store standards at all times.
Requirements
- 5+ years previous management experience in a trade/construction environment is essential.
- You will need to possess great leadership skills in order to motive your team and drive performance and sales.
- Hardworking & Self-Motivated: Have the ability to prioritize, problem-solve and achieve high standards in delivery of goals and objectives.
- Strong sales experience: Have a strong background in sales, trade or customer facing roles.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
