BUSINESS ACQUISITION MANAGER-CORPORATE HEALTH INSURANCE
This is a CF 4 role in line with central bank requirements.
A full-time and permanent position has arisen for a Business Acquisition Manager role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Customer Sales Acquisition and lead our clients Healthcare DAC’s New & Winback Corporate Business in the South of Ireland. A full clean drivers licence is required.
Role Purpose
- Develop & implement tactical plans short and long term plans which enables the Healthcare business to meet its strategic corporate business acquisition targets across its business lines.
- Develop & implement a comprehensive Corporate Business Acquisition plan for the South of Ireland plan to ensure they materially grow the corporate market share in the South of Ireland
- Work with the Head of Customer Sales Acquisition to deliver an agreed yearly and multi-year plan for the South of Ireland’s Corporate Business Acquisition Team for both new to market opportunities and competitor accounts
- Work with the Head of Customer Sales Acquisition to develop market leading pitches to demonstrate our clients superior differentiated proposition for both new and existing corporate clients
- Establish a strong business community network in the South of Ireland to leverage our clients Healthcare DAC’s market leading propositions, e.g. Chambers Ireland, AmCham, new start-up community, etc.
- Manage collaboration with the account management team to ensure smooth transition of newly acquired business
- Drive lead generation, nurture and conversion within the South of Ireland
- Work closely with our clients EBC relationship lead, to ensure the business is continuously getting new opportunities to pitch to new and winback organisations.
- Day to day leadership and management of the South of Ireland’s Corporate Business Acquisition Team including performance management, capability development and team effectiveness
- Support the business as required in any key organisational projects
Education & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years commercial experience in a sales acquisition environment
- Third level qualification minimum degree, preferably in a business discipline, and/or a professional financial qualification
- APA or equivalent qualification
- Proven track record in continuous new sales growth
- Proven commercial focus with a strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with proven experience of building and managing relationships with external stakeholder
- Ability to express ideas in a clear & concise manner - verbally & in writing and to communicate with impact across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- New sales orientated with a proven ability to deliver on new sales growth, organisational goals & sales targets who is self-driven and strongly motivated
- Ability to communicate information and ideas across the organisation to include all internal teams
- Proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all our customers both internal and external, e.g. EBC’s, corporate clients, business community
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in new sales growth
- Self-starter with ability to influence with impact at all levels
- Proven Emotional intelligence – ability to adapt style and approach to different types of professionals and individuals
