Director of Quality, Dublin
My client, a global pharma company have a new and exciting opportunity for a Director of Quality to join the Dublin site. As the Quality Director for their Dublin site, you are positioned at the heart of their operations, blending site-specific duties with a role on the global quality leadership team. Your position will have an impact on the company, their vision and their future journey which offers a career path and boundless opportunity.
Your Role:
Your mandate will be to oversee all aspects of GMP Quality at a manufacturing site, steered by a relentless pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement in quality operations. You will:
· Lead the charge in fostering & improving an organizational ethos where quality permeates every facet, by leading our Quality Support, Qualification & Validation, Operational Quality, and Quality Control departments.
· Ensure GMP compliance across all production processes.
· Establish and maintain quality systems aligned with Global Standards and international GMP regulations.
· Quality oversight of manufacturing operations for GMP compliance, acting as the main contact for quality and compliance issues.
· Develop, manage, maintain & improve procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
What they are looking for to succeed in this role:
· Education in Life Sciences (Chemist, Chemical Engineering, or Pharm. D)
o You will have substantial leadership experience in a Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance/Quality Control environment.
o Knowledge and experience of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for Drug Products manufacturing (EU and US FDA)
o Strong analytical skills and experience with analytical techniques such as UPLC/HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.
o Proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Minitab, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
