A leading private equity company are expanding their team and hiring for a Finance Assistant for their new office based in Dublin 4 opening in early May 2025. My client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, with a focus on payroll, payment reconciliation, and administrative management. The ideal candidate must have prior payroll experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
· Payroll Support: Assist with processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
· Financial Reporting: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including chasing debtors and ensuring timely payments.
· Enter day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciling accounts as needed.
· Support the head office team in administrative tasks and maintaining records.
Required Skills/Experience:
· Proven experience in payroll processing and financial administration.
· Strong understanding of financial management tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and budgeting.
· Proficiency in Excel and other financial software/tools.
· Ability to reconcile payments and manage financial records with accuracy.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
