Finance Manager

The Job:
As a key part of the finance leadership team & reporting directly to the CFO, your duties will be across a wide range of both strategic & hands-on accounting duties for diverse entities & business units located here in Ireland & you will also act as a finance partner to operations management teams.
More specifically these duties will including running the monthly & annual accounts close processes, preparing budgets & forecasts, reviewing commercial agreements & tenders from a finance perspective, identifying opportunities for cost improvements across the business, overseeing audit & compliance duties, leading project teams (including on capital spend projects), monitor financial controls & supporting operations teams with their departmental finance needs.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified ideally in finance, business studies or a related discipline.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- 4+ years industry experience ideally gained in a large corporate or multinational type environment.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems (eg SAP, JDE, Oracle) would be a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative, manage projects & engage with colleagues across the organisation.
The Offer:
This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits & overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications & career experience but expected to range up to approx 80k. In addition there will be an excellent benefits package including pension, significant annual bonus, educational assistances & other supports.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in office in Shannon with the balance working from home/remote.
Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
