Job Title: Financial Accountant

Reporting to: Financial Business Partner

Location: Dublin 12 (2 days in the office per week).

In this role your core responsibilities will include:

Preparation and reporting of monthly financial accounts within SAP and global reporting platform within the prescribed timeframes.
The provision of management reports to Business users together with relevant insight to the target recipients.
Monthly VAT/Intrastat and VIES returns – ROI and UK.
Monthly P30 returns.
Preparation and submission CSO and other Statutory returns and surveys.
Reconciliation and maintenance of balance sheet accounts.
Review of CO within SAP to ensure accuracy and address variances to forecast target.
Assistance on business cases and proposals.
Assistance in the preparation of budget files.
Assisting for the preparation of audit process & liaising with auditors.
Cross train as back up cover for other Finance Roles.
Approving VIM invoices within authority matrix limits.

Requirements:

Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA/IATI.
Experienced in SAP desirable.
Advanced Excel skills.
3+years’ experience in a multinational environment or practice.
Proven record in problem solving and ability to critically evaluate information to deliver the right solutions.
History of delivering, taking charge of tasks and situations to successfully deliver results in a changing environment.
Can communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organisation.
Confident to challenge in a respectful manner.
Resourceful Self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
