Financial Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Maintain control accounts, schedules and reconciliations
• Assist in preparation and completion of monthly performance reporting pack for management team
• Preparing weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and maintaining weekly forecast cashflow files
• Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in preparing financial statements and year end audit process
• Completion of monthly management accounts up to Trial Balance.
• Prepare initial tax returns for VAT, RCT, CT, for UK and Ireland
• Continue to improve internal systems & controls
• Utilize accounting software and other financial tools proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
Key Competencies
• Part Qualified / Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar.
• Experience in construction/ manufacturing industry desirable
• Microsoft office experience is essential. Strong IT skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with COINS ERP system an advantage
