My client in Dublin 4 has an immediate requirement for a Financial Accountant.
The role with report to the Finance Manager and work within Group Finance.
Hybrid working- 2 days in the office.
Key duties will include:
· Responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of a division for the Group
· Responsible for the financial reporting of another division and working directly with the divisional manager
· Responsible for the financial reporting of another department and working directly with the department manager.
· Monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
· Preparation of annual financial statements for various group subsidiaries
· Maintaining the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation of the role
· Assist in providing information for the group annual audit
· Assist in providing information for JSOX and internal audit, and ensuring controls are in place and adhered to
· Involvement in financial projects
· Involvement in budget and reforecasting
· Continuous personal development and training in relation to the role
· Ad hoc finance team duties as required
The ideal candidate will be:
· Part qualified or a Qualified Financial accountant
· Strong IT skills - Microsoft excel and accounting systems
· Strong organizational skills with an ability to plan and perform multiple tasks
· Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
· Exhibits the highest professional standards and ethical principles
· Strong work ethic, capacity to get things done independently, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment
