My client a commercial semi-state body have an immediate vacancy for a Financial Accountant in a newly created role.
Hybrid working- Dublin 2, 3 days in the office.
This is a hands-on role for a recently qualified financial accountant to take up a challenging position supporting the finance function and managing the accounting process of this recently established agency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of general ledger for new group corporate structure
• Preparation of month end financial close and reporting pack
• Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
• Assisting with projects including new accounting system implementation
• Review of PO process and invoice authorisation with AP Manager
• Assistance in the preparation of VAT, PSWT, RCT and PAYE reconciliations
The ideal candidate will be:
· Qualified- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA
· Previous experience in monthly financial accounting and statutory accounts preparation
