Flexsource are currently hiring for a Food and Beverage Manager on behalf of our client based in Co. Longford.
Salary: €40,000
Schedule: Full Time
Duties & Responsibilities:
· To manage the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Department.
· Extensive knowledge of overseeing fine dining restaurants
· Create a professional, innovative and inclusive department working closely with the team to provide a seamless experience
· Knowledge of menu composition and engineering
· Knowledge of food & beverage marketing/promotional techniques
· Knowledge of pricing rationale and strategies
· Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment
· Knowledge of hotel operations as they affect department
· Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards
· Ability to effectively manage labour costs & forecast revenues
· Financial management skills
· Ability to evaluate business trends, determine applicability to customer profile and modify business strategies accordingly
Candidate:
· Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant F&B Manager or F&B
· Passionate about food, wine and customer service
· Experience in delivering premium service to guests
· Strong problem-solving skills; encourages new innovative solutions when appropriate
· Effective influence skills
