For a growing technology company in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a dedicated and collaborative Field Service Installation Technician (m/f/d) to configure and install robotic systems and support leading pharmaceutical companies in automating laboratory processes in the fields of sequencing and research. Field service assignments (80% of working time) will take place across Europe, mainly in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical assemblies according to circuit diagrams, drawings, and work instructions • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Knowledge in electrical engineering and relevant standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues (DC and AC voltage)
- Calibration and commissioning of devices via computer
- Communicate quality issues with internal departments
- Support during Pre-SAT activities (Site Acceptance Test)
- Independent collaboration with support and interdisciplinary teams
- Document support cases, actions, and solutions
- Work in confined spaces and lift loads up to 25 kg
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Completed training in electrical engineering (e.g., electrician, electrical installer, or similar qualification)
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic systems (Fresh graduated candidates are very welcome).
- Excellent communication skills (German: Fluent/C1 Level, English: fluent/C1 Level)
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience in automation/robotics is a plus
- High level of responsibility in teamwork
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems + Jira is a plus
- Willingness to travel 80% of the time across Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium
- A valid driver's license, work/resident permit, and passport are required. (no Visa sponsorship)
