Job Responsibilities
- General Kitchen Porter role
- Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services in line with company's standards
- Clean BOH and FOH areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/ preparation and public areas.
- All cleaning duties within a Mess Area and associated blocks at the site.
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work.
- Perform daily paper work she/he is assigned
- Keeps diligent records as required
- Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Undertake relevant training as required
Key Requirements
- Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
- Specific jobs may also require barista training
- BICs training for cleaning duties - Desirable but not essential.
- No previous experience required, but 1-2 years' experience in a food services ,retail or cleaning environment desirable.
