Label Controller Grade 1 - Almac Clinical Services
CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Label Controller to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.
· Pay Rate - £14.03 per hour + shift premium for Evening (+16.7%) and Night shift (33.3%) roles.
· Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
· Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37.5 hours per week
· Shift -
Days - 07.30 to 15.30 (Monday - Friday)
Evenings - 15.30 to 23.30 (Monday - Friday)
Nights -10pm to 6am (Sunday - Thursday)
OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The postholder is responsible for the printing checking and issuing of randomised and open labels, ancillary labels, distribution labels, leaflets, codebreak cards and pre-printed material (hereafter collectively named printed material)
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will:
1. Print approved randomised and open printed material.
2. Check approved randomised and open printed material.
3. Check Master Label Approvals.
4. Prepare pre-printed material.
5. Store and control printed material.
6. Issue approved printed material to Production.
7. Organise workload to comply with scheduled commencement of Production operations.
8. Complete and prepare all documentation associated with the printing, checking and control of all printed material.
9. Complete monthly production analysis figures e.g. timesheets, logs and reports.
10. Escalate any issues with the suitability of labels to their Supervisor as appropriate.
11. Collaborate with co-workers.
12. Be accountable for performing all tasks to the required standards and within the necessary timeframe in accordance with the relevant SOPs and cGMPs.
13. Perform any additional duties as required by the Label Control Manager.
During periods of high volume work requests this role will require additional coverage beyond normal working hours and it is a condition of your employment that you are able to fulfil this requirement of the role.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT
GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Previous experience working with computers
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks within a high volume, varied workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
High attention to detail
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENT
Five GCSE subjects (to include English Language and Mathematics) at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Experience of inspecting material for both accuracy and consistency
Working within a pharmaceutical production environment
Experience in a design role, using computerised packages, e.g.- Abode Illustrator
