My Client is looking for a Legal Secretary for a busy Dublin 2 Solicitor’s firm to provide support and general administrative assistance for a Conveyancing Solicitor / Litigation Solicitor.
This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive Law Firm. Prior experience in a busy and demanding Legal Secretary role is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
· Reception Cover;
· Transcribing dictation;
· Dictaphone – 68 wpm
· Filing and Archiving
· Sorting, Scanning, Filing & general administrative support;
· Diary management and arranging meetings;
· Maintaining calendars;
· Monitoring Trial dates and call over lists;
· Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents;
· Collecting information and preparing legal documents for the Law Clerk;
· Corresponding with Clients, Experts, Counsel, Solicitors and Witnesses;
· Preparing Declarations, Contracts and formatting legal documents,
· Cort – Requisitions on Title
· Land Registry/PRA
· Banks – Obtaining Title Deeds,
· Billing, cheque requisitioning
· Scheduling Deeds/Documents
· Other ad hoc activities as required.
The successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
· Prior experience in a similar position;
· Excellent organizational skills;
· Strong attention to detail;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills;
· Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Case management system would be a distinct advantage.
