Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Chef and Ansible to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and automating Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, and optimizing performance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain configuration management automation using Chef and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux infrastructure and automation tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployment.
• Monitor system performance, ensure security compliance, and optimize server configurations.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and automation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Linux Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Strong expertise in automation tools like Chef and Ansible.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Certification in Linux or DevOps-related technologies is a plus.
