Description: Role Purpose: The role of a material scheduler is an important role for the delivery and on plant storage of kitted material to the GMP manufacturing area.
To ensure materials are delivered, ready to use on plant before the requirement date. To return unused materials to warehouse upon batch completion.
• Ensure picked materials are correctly labelled, unused and undamaged
• Resolve discrepancies between picked and planned vs actual material lists
• Perform material transfer onto plant in conjunction with warehouse operators
• Transfer and store delivered materials in relevant manufacturing storage areas
• Scan completed pick lists and planned vs actual lists
• Maintain 6S principles in on plant storage areas
• Transfer dispensed raw materials from dispensary to fermentation
• Return unused unopened materials to warehouse at batch end
• Transfer rejected material to warehouse
GMP and Safety responsibilities (at all times): To be aware of and act in accordance with all safety precautions and GMP requirements relevant to the task being performed. To attend GMP training sessions and ensure the training file and electronic record is maintained to the defined training plan.
Communication / time keeping (at all times): Ensure effective liaison/communication with all departments and the team, maintaining good relations at all times. Demonstration of reliability, good time keeping and a responsible team/customer orientated attitude. Actively engage in departmental continuous improvement activities, questioning current practices to actively promote and improve the area.
