Estate Officer
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for an Estate Officer (HPTO/DP Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 6 months, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £21.99 per/hr
· Location – DAERA, Estate Branch - Jubilee House
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Building Surveyor, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to –:
· Assisting in coordinating and prioritising property maintenance work across the DAERA estate
· Assisting in the financial management of maintenance work and projects.
· Liaising with maintenance contractors, CPD and staff in various DAERA business areas about the maintenance of the DAERA estate.
· Inspecting and verifying that maintenance work is satisfactorily completed on site.
· Collecting data and preparing management information about the DAERA estate.
· Providing technical input to minor works projects and planned preventative maintenance works/compliance standards
· Providing progress updates on maintenance work being undertaken across the DAERA estate; and
· Working with DAERA business areas to identify estate specific maintenance needs, developing technical maintenance project briefs and schedules of refurbishment projects
Essential Experience/Qualifications
· 1a) At least an HNC/HND in a construction related discipline. AND 1b) At least 3 years' post qualification experience gained within the last 7 years in the delivery of estate/building maintenance and minor works projects.
OR
· 2a) At least an undergraduate degree in a construction related discipline. AND 2b) At least 2 years' post qualification experience gained within the last 7 years in the delivery of estate/building maintenance and minor works projects.
Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications
Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
