Occupational Therapists – Acute Hospital, Dublin
Ireland's national public health and social care provider, the Health Service Executive (HSE) are currently recruiting for Staff Grade and Senior Grade Occupational Therapists for a number of permanent positions for an acute hospital in South Dublin.

Acute Services
The Occupational Therapist within an acute setting works closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation and discharge planning for the patient.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be required to assist in service development as well as supervise and train junior staff.

•Permanent employment contract including sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit
•Competitive salary between €42,202 - €71,609 depending on experience
•35 hour working week

•Assistance with registration with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority and reimbursement of fees to the value of €510

Candidates interested in the role must have:
•A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist
•Eligible to apply for registration as an Occupational Therapist with CORU (www.coru.ie), the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority in Ireland
•For Senior Grade positions - A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist including a significant amount of experience working within a community and/or acute setting
Other requirements specific to the post
•Police clearance from any country lived or worked in for 6 months or more
•Excellent assessment and intervention skills
•Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
•Flexibility in work practice
•Excellent verbal and written English
•Have access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
