I am currently seeking an Office Manager/ Executive Assistant for my client based in Galway City.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior management in a dynamic public body. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and have a passion for supporting leadership teams.
Role Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and management team, including scheduling and managing appointments
· Organise and attend meetings, prepare documents, presentations, and record minutes for board meetings and committees
· Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, ensuring all statutory requirements are met
· Manage and complete lobbying returns
· Compile statistics on a quarterly basis and submit to relevant body.
· Assist with ad-hoc projects assigned by the executive team, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
· Manage the CEO’s calendar and travel arrangements for executive team as required.
· Maintain personnel records; organise and attend staff meetings.
· Actively contribute as a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility team and the “Green Team.”
Role Requirements:
· Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work independently in a busy office environment. Strong personal efficiency and time management skills.
· Experience in creating and designing PowerPoint presentations
· Proactive attitude with a sense of responsibility.
· Demonstrated discretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive information.
· Strong communication skills.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Office Manager/ Executive Assistant or similar role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
