Overview:
We are currently seeking a Sorter to join our team in a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials efficiently and ensuring the smooth operation of the sorting process. 00:00-08:00 (approx) night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and organise incoming materials accurately
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Load and unload items from delivery vehicles
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to operate machinery effectively
- Assist with forklift operations when necessary
- Build and assemble products as per specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures
- Capable of handling materials safely, including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment efficiently
- Skilled in load and unload processes
- Forklift certification is desirable but not essential
