Reporting to the Product Safety Manager, the Product Safety Analyst will have a crucial role encompassing various responsibilities:
- Investigating and overseeing multiple product compliance cases, ensuring identification and resolution of breaches, including enforcement actions.
- Conducting Market Surveillance activities on eCommerce platforms to evaluate compliance with the RED and EMC Regulations.
- Performing Authorised Officer market surveillance on imported/sold products to assess compliance with regulations.
- Managing the entry of relevant products into the State by liaising with State authorities like Revenue Customs.
- Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders (national and international Market Surveillance Authorities, EU Commission).
- Establishing risk-based processes for consistent market surveillance and compliance.
- Evaluating radio and electrical products against standards as per RED and EMC Regulations.
- Overseeing EC notification systems for information exchange on non-compliance.
- Representing the company at national/international forums and contributing to EU-wide surveillance campaigns.
- Supervising external consultants and resources for project delivery.
This dynamic role involves national and international travel, requiring flexibility in working hours.
Essential requirements :
- A third-level qualification in technology, engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Proven project delivery expertise in diverse environments, showcasing resilience and adherence to timelines.
- Experience in managing external resources for efficient project completion.
- Ability to grasp complex briefs, analyze extensive information, and make evidence-based decisions swiftly.
- Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills.
- Possession of a valid full driving license.
