My client, a leading Building Services Consultancy with offices nationwide, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Limerick team. They specialise in delivering high-performance and sustainable engineering solutions across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, and healthcare.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical design projects of all sizes.
- Ensure technical excellence, quality control, and compliance in mechanical designs.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and project discussions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across the company’s national offices.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
- Six or more years’ experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, LTHW, water services, fuel systems, drainage, and BMS.
- Proven knowledge of Irish Building Regulations (TGD Part B, F, G, L).
- Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and BIM (advantageous).
- Ability to lead projects, manage clients, and oversee project performance.
- Chartership desirable.
