We are offering an exciting opportunity for Social Care Leaders to join our clients' team on a permanent basis and to work as part of a team in providing the necessary care to vulnerable young people within their residential service.
Our client works directly with young people in a residential care setting, aiming to provide the highest quality of care to service users, whilst delivering a stable and engaging workplace for its employees.
To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant equivalent
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Children’s Residential Services including experience in a key working role
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Have strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Have knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding procedures
- Flexibility around working hours is a must - weekends, days, evenings, waking nights and sleepover shifts
- A full clean driver's license is a must - both manual and automatic licenses would be considered
