Supply Chain Planning Manager - North County Dublin

The primary responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve and support the business and the supply chain activity. The role demands the proactive identification of potential development to ensure internal guidelines and procedures, and the design of robust control strategies and quality relationships.

Key duties will include:

·      Leadership, development and mentoring of the end to end Demand and Supply Planning team

·      Proactively own the development of optimised inventory planning and implementation of safety stocks to support the business across all categories, channels, markets, and business streams

·      Hands-on approach to the implementation of industry-standard best practices across the supply chain planning function, through the ongoing improvement of inventory planning positioning for the business and removing the need for extensive manual processes

·      Implementation of MRP for finished goods and support the extended operations teams in implanting MRP at the factories

·      Drive the scheduling of Finished goods production at the supply base, aligned with forecasting requirements and capacity planning at the factories, to ensure optimised availability at global distribution warehouses

·      Identify targets and KPIs for supply chain planning and work to support their development

·      Support the procurement function in developing and monitoring of supplier management protocols and control structures across the business

·      Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and optimise the end-to-end supply chain

The successful candidate will have

·      Strong industry background in both supply and demand planning is essential

·      Hands-on people management and development experience is necessary

·      A degree in supply chain, business or planning discipline is required

·      Proficiency in supply and demand planning best practices

·      Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to communicate complex data into actionable tactical insights connected with strategic goals

·      Pro-active approach to new technologies, systems and processes to drive the function forward

·      Knowledge of manufacturing is an advantage

·      Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional and senior management, as required

·      Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality

·      Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
