Senior Manager Technical Accounting and Coordination
Location: Germantown (hybrid)
You will have to hold a CPA or ACA/ACCA or equivariant
Five years’ experience in pharma/bio or at a Big 4 company required
The successful candidate will be responsible for the US GAAP for a globally growing company. You will report directly to the Vice President. This role would ultimately be a part of a team at an exciting period as the company continues to grow organically and via M&A’s.
You will work alongside the research & development leads (clinical, scientific etc.) and the Vice President of the U.S. as well as the wider C-suite/Senior management team members in Europe so with strong responsibility comes good visibility across the group. You will have responsibility for one direct report
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Consolidation of the group and management of the cash flow under US GAAP as required
- Work on finance-related projects with the CFO and VP of Finance
- Assess matters of technical accounting
- Prepare the company financial statements
- Oversee and maintain shared works
- Manage the payment of shares
- Conducts audits across the group
- Ensure that tax laws are adhered to
- Ensure the group is adhering to SOX 404a
